Why Solid Surface?

For countertops without seams, solid surface is a “solid” choice. These highly-affordable countertops are molded to fit counters perfectly. Their durable, non-porous surface is resistant to stains and bacteria. If nicks or scratches should occur, they can often be sanded out and repaired.

Take Note

Solid surface countertops are not heat resistant, so they can scorch, discolour, or crack if exposed to high heat. Avoid cutting directly on a solid surface, as it is soft and easily scratched. Solid surface is also susceptible to damage if exposed to harsh chemicals such as nail polish or paint thinner.
