Take Note
Wood countertops require more care and maintenance than any other countertop material. Scratches, dents, and burns can happen easily. Water damage can occur if standing water works its way into the seams. Expect to refinish wood countertops every 10 to 20 years, depending on how much they are used and how well they are maintained.
